Gloss Mountains - Fairview, OK
16 miles from Fairview.
The unusual name comes from the millions of sparkling selenite crystals that cover the surface of the bold buttes just 5.5 miles west of Orienta on U.S. 412. These peaks, especially Cathedral Mountain, are very picturesque and definitely worth a visit! Gloss Mountain State Park is under development at this time. Stop at the turnout for a picnic, hike, or additional information on the park and mountains.
